Useful information
1. Dress code
Leave the jeans at home this time. For ladies, we recommend evening dresses/suits, for gentlemen a suit with a shirt. A tie or bow tie is optional. If you wish to match the colours of the wedding decorations, we recommend a soft green (eucalyptus/olive) or lila:)
2. Wedding gifts
The most important thing for us is your personal participation :) So it's best that you spend money on your tickets and travel. If you insist on a wedding gift: We don't lack anything materially to be happy, but we do have a house that we need to keep improving. We would therefore be grateful for any financial contribution :) Gifts can be presented to the bride and groom as part of the congratulations after the wedding in front of the church or after dinner.
3. Is there parking available?
Yes, both the restaurant and the church have free parking available.
4. Am I allowed to bring my children?
Yes, you can bring your children, just please let us know ahead to consider food options and if they require children's highchair.
5. Do you offer accomodation to the wedding guests?
Accommodation is provided for family and friends from France and Greece only. If you would like to stay overnight, please contact us and we will recommend several options in the vicinity of the venue.
6. What currency is used in Slovakia?
Euro :)
7. Do I need a passport to travel to Slovakia?
No. Slovakia is an EU & Schenghen member, it's enough to travel with your ID.
8. What are the most interesting places to see in Slovakia?
Do not hesitate and use this opportunity to know our small but beautiful country! We have listed some tips on nice places in this article. It is also a great time to discover czech region - South Morava which is just next to Slovak border. Try to see e.g. Lednice, Valtice, Mikulov.
